Renown Electric Motors & Repair Inc. is a privately owned Ontario corporation founded in 1984.  Renown operates from a 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art repair facility centrally located in Concord, Ontario with an additional 12,000 square foot warehouse dedicated to motor management and inventory of new motors.  Renown was founded on a vision and is now recognized for offering outstanding service to its customers 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  Our dedicated team of over 40 employees has extensive experience covering all aspects of electric motor repair, remanufacture, overhaul, field service and engineering support.

Renown holds a diverse customer base which includes a wide range of industries, from start up companies, to multinationals, in a variety of fields from all types of industrial, mobile and commercial applications.

As an authorized dealer and service representative for most major manufacturers, our customers can depend on the best products and repairs. Our engineering expertise and production capability allows us to re-manufacture all major AC & DC motors up to 5000 hp. Renown Electric Motors has CSA qualification for the repair and service of motors and generators in hazardous locations as well as ISO 9001 certification.

Renown uses the latest in computerized testing techniques to ensure repairs are completed that meet or exceed the Original Equipment Manufacturers specifications.  Every aspect of your repair is carefully controlled by our own mechanics, computerized winders, machine shop and testing which ensures quality at every step.  We have a large fleet of service and delivery vehicles with cranes to pick-up and return your repairs promptly to your job site.

Renown's commitment to service extends beyond the reaches of our shop by offering predictive maintenance programs designed to meet the customers’ requirements. Programs include on-site laser alignment, balancing, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis and non destructive testing.
